For Example, Consider this scenario
The Australian property market keeps growing 10% – 12% every year. Based on past 40+ years statistics, an investment property worth approximately $600,000 NOW, will appreciate at least $60,000 every year (10%). So, within the next 4 years, at least an approximate total of $240,000 will be increased, bringing the total property value around $900,000.
